Memorial has an ever increasing passion for taking God's Word throughout the U.S. and to other countries. Each year we support and send teams to multiple locations of this focus.
Our goal is to equip and provide opportunities for those who are called in this area of ministry.
Columbia is our home. This is where we share life with people every day.
Every week we encounter folks from various backgrounds and situations. We have multiple educational campuses located within a few miles of our facility. We have schools in our neigborhood. All of this only makes up a small portion of the populous of Columbia.
Something we can be sure of about everyone who makes up "our community"... is that we all need to be loved! Jesus showed us what it is to be loved... "Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:13)
Jesus proved to be the greatest friend we could ever need by expressing the greatest form of love we could ever experience. We hope to introduce as many people in Columbia as we can to the greatest friend they could ever have.
The church is the body of Christ in our neighborhood. Join us as we seek God’s leadership in knowing and serving our neighbors.
Spring is coming! Even if it doesn't look like it now, the community garden will be available for new people to have a plot this Spring. The Ann Street Garden is a partnership of Benton-Stephens Neighborhood Association, Community Garden Coalition, and Memorial Baptist Church.

Friend's International is a weekly group for international women held at Memorial Baptist Church on Thursday mornings from 9:30 to 11:30. We desire to offer a place where international women can practice conversational English, make new friends, learn about our culture, cook new recipes, make interesting crafts, take field trips, and be entertained in our homes.
We provide a nursery for birth- preK children and offer transportation if needed. If you would like more information, please contact Kathleen by email - email@example.com or by phone - 449-3038.
International Bible Study
Mark Morgan teaches the International Sunday School which meets from 9:15 – 10:15 am in C104. His class consists mostly of visiting scholars, government officials, graduate students, and some spouses. They average about 8-10 per week, which includes two helpers: John Kim & Sunny Jun. At present, all of the members are from S. Korea, but other attendees were from India, China, and Nigeria. Within the last year, Mark reported that 2 families (5 individuals) became Christians and were baptized in our local churches.
