Rev. Anthony Ochoa

Minister of Students and Recreation

Anthony serves as Minister of Students and Recreation here at Memorial Baptist Church. After growing up in Chicago, IL, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Youth Ministry from Lincoln Christian University in 2009. In December of 2012 he received his Masters of Arts degree in Leadership Studies from Lincoln Christian University. He also enjoys writing books. He is the author of the book Coffee Shop Church. And is currently finishing up his second book Chasing God's Heart: Reflections on the Life of David.

Anthony and his wife Emily believe in youth ministry because they both love seeing the lives of teenagers changed forever. Teenagers have unlimited potential to change the world and when they're changed, so is the world.

Favorite things to do: Hang out with Emily and their son, Jackie, watch the Chicago Bulls, Blackhawks, and White Sox, write music, play and talk about sports, drink coffee.
